I-797C Received!

This morning, right after a parent-teacher conference with Leah's teacher, my husband called me and said that the INS had approved our application, the I-797C. These few weeks, I have been calling or emailing the USCIS every few days to inquire about the application's progress. Although we have been anticipating approval, we were still very excited. Next we need three levels of authentication for all the documents: the San Diego County Clerk, the Secretary of State, and the Chinese consulate. Lastly, all the documents will be sent to the CCAA for final approval. It will take 3 months or so to get the LOA.
