Still Waiting......

I recently called my adoption agency and chatted with our agent for a long time. She explained the detailed process at CCAA. When the dossier arrives at CCAA, it first goes to the Administrative Office, which is responsible for logging in the files and assigning us a LID. The documents are then translated into Chinese. This process takes about a month. Next, the dossier gets moved to the Review Room. They are responsible to check all the documents and approve the adoption. This process takes 4-6 weeks. After the Review Room approves the adoption, the dossier goes to the Matching Room, which sends out LOA. This process takes 2-3 weeks. Our agency checked our status and found out that we are still in the Administrative Office process. Based on this information, it will take at least 2 more months for us to receive our LOA. There is no way to speed up the process. We just have to wait patiently.
