He told us to stay in the hotel until everything was OK at the consulate. He called us at about 11am and told us that we could go out for sightseeing. We went to Yuexiu park and had a lot of fun. We first rented a boat and paddled for an hour and then wandered around. There are two amusement parks in the park, which Anna enjoyed very much. It was her first time on such rides, and she was so excited that she didn't want to leave. The park was huge and we didn't even finish walking through half of the park by the time we had to leave for dinner. Leah really wanted some American food, so we went to dinner at Lucy's. She had pizza and french fries. Anna also enjoyed eating at Lucy's. Anna still eats a lot, but not as much as she did in the first few days. We all dressed up in traditional Chinese outfits after dinner and went to the White Swan Hotel to take the "Red Couch" photos, as every adoptive family does.
